GAME RULES
1. Respect your Admin, respect your players, respect yourself.
This rule is always my number one. I honestly push this beyond any other rule in the game. Every single rule I'm about to mention can come back to respect. No pestering, stalking, or harassment of any kind. I will NOT tolerate bullies and it could lead into an instant ban. If you're an asshole to other people, please don't bother playing here. Any player or character of any race, sexuality, religion (though Andeloria DOES have its own religion), or gender is welcome here in Andeloria.
2. Accepted Races
a) Accepted races are based on typical medieval fantasy lore (elves, fae, dawrfs, etc). There are very few races we don't accept which include races that you've made up on your own.
b) The following is not accepted: Demi-gods, gods, furries/nekos [You may play them as shifters with a possible hybrid form]
c) Andeloria has a lore information sheet with a list of focused races in the game as well as rules that must be followed for them.
3. Face claims and application
a) As a free-form style RP, we do not do "applications". Your profile is filled out on your characters profile page, but there is no period in which you must wait to play. We do ask you put some details in your profile. All characters will be reviewed by GMs though to make sure you're following our rules.
b) We do not have mandatory face claims either. Note: All forms of art, RL, or animated face claims may be used if you wish.
4. Activity Checks
a) Andeloria has no activity checks! Your character can last here forever.
b) Be courteous to your fellow players and don't get involved in too many things, only to bail.
c) NOTE: Every six months I do go through the members list. The only profiles that get removed are ones with NO profiles filled out AND no posts AND have not logged in for more than three months. If you have either, we will keep your account on file.
d) Canon positions in the game MUST be active. If there is no activity on the character within two weeks of your last post/visit, the position will be opened again.
5. No God-modding/meta-gaming/over powered characters
a) The gods here are run by our mod. We do not accept gods or godly characters here. Be realistic with your characters, please. We all have equal strengths and weaknesses
b) You only control YOUR OWN character. Do not make actions for others unless given permission. This includes a players personal NPC.
6. Rating: 3-3-2
a) We are a mature site. You do not EVER have to partake in an storyline that makes you feel uncomfortable.
b) Please make sure all adult stories are labeled with either M or Mature anything so others know that they don't have to read it. Feel free to add extra warning at the start of your post to keep others from reading any trigger plots.
c) We reserve the right to stop you from going into explicit scenes that are morally wrong. While mentioning that your character was raped in their history is fine, playing such scenes out will not be welcomed here. We ask that you make sure to respect other players triggers! Also no pornographic pictures of any kind!
d) Players who are 18+ only may participate in Andeloria. Sexually explicit scenes involving minors (player or characters) will not be tolerated.
7. Word count & literacy
a) Andeloria welcomes RPers of all types. Though we ask that English be your primary language and people can understand you, we wish to have new people and vets in our worlds.
b) We do not believe in word counts. Both one liners, semi-lit, and para types are allowed to be played.
8. Character Death
Characters can die here- either for story purposes or due to battles. Every character has two lives (like a video game) that they can use. The gods can choose to favor a mortal and bring them back. After three times of this happening, you character will remain dead.
So the point of this rule is that you can be a little risky with your character!
