What Andeloria accepts:
- Any typical medieval fantasy lore (LotR)
- Made up creatures that have been approved by admin
- Animals (realistic, not talking except perhaps telepathic)
- Witches/Warlocks - there is no category for them, because any race may have magical abilities.
What Andeloria does NOT accept:
- Furries / Anthros.
- Godly characters. Not even demi-gods.
- Full angels or demons. (see Enlightened/Endarkened)
Below is a list of canon Lore or information on races that we ask people to follow. We're not sticklers for rules on race/lore, but we do ask you follow some general 'rules'. Will we accept it if your lycanthrope has a hybrid form? Yes. Will we allow your Vampire to sparkle? No. This information is here to give you the KEY tidbits about the lore here in Andeloria.

MORTALS
- Graced
- Mundane/Humans
- Enlightened
Humans born with Caphis' blood in them; warriors of light; guardians of Andeloria. Many mortals claim them to be half angelic beings with holy powers. They are born with the symbol of the sun on the back of their neck that enhances their senses and strength. Though they are mortal, they swear an oath to protect humans and creatures of light from darkness and any of the other gods. They align themselves with the kingdom of light, they do not follow many of the political structures that other mortals/immortals must. They are the avengers of Andeloria. Power vary depending on the individual, but any type of holy or angelic power is acceptable. Some of the stronger ones even have white wings upon their backs. (Note: Half angel characters are filled under Enlightened. They are the 'messengers' of Caphis) - Endarkened
- Changelings
MYTHICALS
- Fairfolk (nymphs, pixies, sprites,… with a focus on unseelie and seelie courts.)
This ranges from all faerie creatures known in fairy-tales. Within two hidden locations, the Faeries have taken all their magic with them, fearful that the mortal world has gone too far with magic. The two courts chose to hide themselves from the mortal in order to live in peace and avoid the kingdoms forcing their politics onto them. The greatest skill of all is when one can overcome the ability to lie.
Seelie Court: the combined court of the summer and the lesser spring court. Ruled by Queen Tatiana and King Oberon. Seelie fae are skilled in both nature and illusion magic. They come in all different shapes and sizes, though most take on a more Elvish look. Though they are kinder than the unseelie, the Seelie court has firm laws they must obey.
Unseelie Court: the combined winter court and lesser autumn court. Ruled by the Queen of Air and Darkness with no current consort or children. They are darker in nature, with a love of tricking people and disobeying rules. Their skills tend of fall on cold elements and powers of darkness. Unseelie fae are silver tongued mischievous creatures. - Shifters (lycans, werepards, dragon shifters… etc)
A creature with a human form that can shift into an animal. They are not immortal, but can live for hundreds of years due to their ability of slow aging and fast healing. Each shifter hold different strengths and weaknesses, however most have advances senses and strength. Human forms generally have similarities between their two forms. Fur being the same color as their hair, same eyes, etc. - Vampires
A vampire is a pale and beautiful being from folklore who subsists by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood or energy) of the living. They are undead creatures who lack the need of air or food in order to survive. Most vampires have an 'allergy' to sunlight- some so bad they can die from it. In order to walk in the daylight, they must cover their skin. A vampire is created by a bite and the drinking of their sire's blood. The moment they turn, their bodies stop aging and become sterile. Although they are immortal creatures, Vampires can still die if their heads are ripped from their body and set aflame or if they do not feed on blood or energy. They have super fast healing abilities as well as super strength. - Dwarves
Dwarves are described as shorter and stockier than Elves and Men, able to withstand both heat and cold. Though they are mortal, Dwarves have an average lifespan of 250 years. There are more males than females. They typically take shelter in the mountains and work as miners and smiths. They are famous for their armor and weapondry sold all across Andeloria. Dwarves have the ability to withstand extreme weather. - Elves/Drow
The elves and their opposite, the drow, have recently become more popular due to the faerie's vanishing. Although they are similar to the courts, they are two very different races. The elves come from many different categories (wood, sun, water, etc) and have powers based on their element. Elves are gentle folk, but they prefer to remain hidden and away from humans and their politics. Drow also prefer to be separate from humans, however they are cruel creatures with no remorse for their evil ways. The drow and the elves have been at war for many years with the elves ruling the upper world and the drow remaining in the darkness of the ground. - Creatures (unicorns, griffins, phoenixs...etc)
Fantasy creatures of all types have found their way to Andeloria. Many roam freely through the wild, while others have gained magical abilities to communicate and be involved in the politics of the land.
