The Summary The land of Andeloria once lived in perfect harmony; the five patron gods of the land gave life and perfect to every corner. For years it lived in innocence of hierarchy or leadership- dividing the land amongst species. The war of light and dark and good and evil were fought amongst species. The twin gods, the most powerful of all five gods, came together to help keep a balance alive. Caphis took part of his blood and passed down his powers of light to a handful of human warriors. He dubbed them the Enlightened, and they would fight against demonic creatures to protect the good in humanity. Khaalida, not wishing to let her creatures of darkness fade, honored her husband by using her blood to create chaotic creatures- guardians of demons and killer of Enlightened. For years there remained a perfect balance of good and evil.
Then the dragons came, bringing over their gold and desire for power. This changed the meaning of the balance. The dragon shifters created a hierarchy with them at the top of the list. House Spire, one of the last ruling bloodlines, governed Andeloria until their greed for power blinded them to a new enemy.
The graced humans, a once secret group of humans with tremendous power, overthrew the three kings- pushing them all into a single kingdom. There, the four most powerful gracelings took a kingdom of their own, dividing Andeloria even further: Lothrei; the land closest to the sea and ruled by wit. Neovia; the kingdom of illusion that sits in the middle of the forest of faeries. Rhyrid; home to House Spire and lead with force. Aivreath; A kingdom of pure light and beauty. Finally, there is Boasian; A kingdom of demons and darkness. Each Graceling built their kingdoms based on their own powers.
The faerie courts used all their magic to avoid the hierarchy of the graced humans- hiding their realms from any mortals- including graced. The Seelie court created a portal in the forest of faeries, while the unseelie remained hidden underground. The courts chose not to follow the laws of the mortals, but they have challenges of their own.

Detailed History Has someone ever told you of the story on how the gods were born from the moral point of view? I bet you didn't know gods could not even exist without faith. All it takes is one soul to believe, and thus they are born. Their job? To not only corrupt the hearts of the mortals, but to give them something they need in times of trouble: Faith.
The land had been a dark place where chaos ruled over its people. The seas clashed against the beaches, desert heat making it impossible to live anywhere south. With no structure built, and no rules placed upon the creatures. It wasn't until the elves began their stories of old leaders who gave mercy upon their followers. Godly creatures who did not show themselves to many, but created peace through the land. They also caused acts of chaos so that the world may understand the true meaning of peace when things went wrong. People say that the these creatures named the land themselves... Andeloria
The elves questioned how the sun and the moon could be so opposite, yet work together to share the days. They spoke of a pair of siblings who were opposite in nature. Khaalida had a dark personality, bringing forth the people to her palace on the moon once they died. It was she the wild creatures of the night howled to and respected. While Caphis was playful and gentle; offering light to those who needed it. He sparked new beginning in those he came in contact with. Thus began the first two temples of Andeloria- light and darkness. With the temples came mortal warriors to protect them. The twins, not wishing to ever be best by the other, used their own powers to make warriors that would be forever loyal to them. Caphis had his Enlightened beings and Khaalida had her Endarkened warriors.
The moon and the sun children had no life if it were not for their father. Dayus, the ruler of the sky, watched over his children and made sure they did not hurt one another. He gave air to the people, breathing life not only in his children, but also the mortals. Life, for humans, was more than just air. Andeloria's third temple assembled during the time when music came to be; dubbing him also the god of music. Those who served Dayus, were able to see his wisdom in leading his children and the people of Andeloria, marking him Dayus the Wise.
A woman of the earth spirits had felt Dayus' breath of life. Forest creatures saw her beauty and love for the earth that she invited humans into the forests. There she taught them the important of humanity and how as a human, one must respect the earth. She favored the humans, but reached out to those and taught them that humanity remained even in the darkest of creatures… as well as love. The mortals turned her little cabin in the forest into a temple- wound between the thick trees that made it diffucult to find unless you knew what you were looking for.
The sea had grown jealous of the joining of Andeloria. Axenus continues to thrust the violent waves of water onto the land, hoping to destroy the rock that blocked his path. No matter how many lives taken by Axenus, he refused to stop. It wasn't until Khaalida had left her place on the moon to visit the sea that Axenus finally calmed. She did not try to stop him from his violent nature, but instead she taught him how to channel it. Together at night, they broke through Andeloria- creating rivers and springs of all kind- finally connecting Axenus to Andeloria. In return, Axenus promised to send her any of the souls who died at his hands. The people paid tribute to Axenus out of fear at the edge of the land, yet Axenus himself formed a temple under the water. For those creatures who acted as 'his children' could pay respect.
The five godly beings lived long lives, but soon their physical forms began to vanish. In order to tie themselves to the mortal world, they chose mortal followers to represent them, relying on them to spread the word of their faith through the land. Some claim it is only the spirit that lingered to communicate with the mortals, while others think they just choose to no longer mingle with the mortal plain. No matter what story was right, the gods continued to influence the direction the land went.
Then came the dragons with their gold and hierarchy. For generations they ruled... right down to House Spire. One of the last of the dragon shifters changed the system of leadership by taking a fae woman to be his wife. Lazarus was a soft man, though he ruled with a hard heart. Together they had three children, Rune being the oldest, would become king after his father. Although the Emperor and his Empress kept a secret... The real Rune died only weeks after birth, but a 'merciful' goddess Khaalida replaced the babe with a child of the moon. Their first born dragon son was now a were-wolf female. What did they do? Continued to raise the babe as Rune himself, hiding it even from their second born and third adopted son.
However, when Lazarus died, Cascadia feared her children would fight. She divided the land into three kingdoms and gave each of her sons a piece to rule. Little did she know, their desire to be the true king would lead them to battle anyways, especially with the help of the gods teasing. Rhys, wanting to rule all, battled against his brother, Rune to expose his so called secret. The youngest chose to remain neutral... all the while Khaalida only fueled the fire by returning the real Rune to Cascadia.
Chaos brewed, but not even the gods foresaw what would happen next. So consumed with their hate for the dragon monarchy, the gods missed the fact that blessed humans called Gracelings stepped forth and pushed the dragon monarchy into a single kingdom. Four kings and queen came together as one, known as the strongest of the grace humans and added two more kingdoms to the already broken Andeloria.
Out of these five kingdoms came a kingdom of light and a kingdom of dark, for one could not live without the other. The Endarkened and Enlightened warriors that were once only loyal to their gods, fled to the respected kingdoms and thrived. There they found homes and a place to protect their beliefs.
War only brought about anger from the fae. Forests burned, humans used magic, and the dragons ruled for far too long. Tired of the pettiness of the mortal realm, the two major courts created portals to their own realms, vanishing and taking their magic with them. What they left behind? Fae children switched out at birth... humans with strange magical abilities unlike any around them. Not quite wizards/witches and not quite faerie....

PLOT 1: Aftermath It has been three months since the uprising of the Graced Humans ended and the dust is only beginning to settle. Each kingdom has new territories, but the courts have yet to be established. The tension is high since the alliance has been broken, for each King/Queen must now fight their own battles. Not to mention, there's the issue of the final fifth Kingdom being run by the Spire family they defeated. For years the graced felt that the dragons needed to be removed from the throne- making way for a new type of leadership. Now that they had it, some are not sure what to do.
Would a new alliance be forged or will history repeat itself? Can the new Kings and Queens trust their court system? Will Rune fight back against these four usurpers? Time will tell....
The gods, taken back by the events, have remained quiet the last few months. Let the mortals destroy themselves; they clearly didn't need any help. Caphis and Khaalida lean on the support of their mortal warriors (Enlightened & Endarkened) to keep the balance of darkness and light, but for how long will the rest remain silent?
Then there are the faerie courts and their disgust with the human realm. Hidden from all mortals but one kind: their half offsprings... Changelings have the power to move between the two realms. Will the Changelings prove to be trouble for the Fae courts, or can they easily be kicked off to the mortal realm they belong in? It's hard to keep your magic away from the mortal realm when little half humans are running about with it.
