Whether he thought her to be a prude or not, Aversia didn't care. She wasn't a whore or made to keep the company of a man whenever they asked for it. Her attitude had nothing to do with that statement.
"Good," she spoke of him being alone. It meant that she could trust him a little more with their business arrangement. It also meant that she had someone on her side if this so called person was an enemy.
Aversia was quick to follow Edward. Although her blade was out, she kept it far from his back. As his eyes met with hers, she gave him a dark grin. "You think I'm going to stay here by myself? As if."

Teach looked to Aversia and asked, “Did you hear that?” Fire began to play along the length of his cutlass from his flaming hand as he pulled it. He moved, more slowly and quietly in the direction of the voice. The wind began to become more concentrated and formed a shell of a sort around the two of them. Looking at her again he asked, “Do you have any ideas?” He also searched her face for reactions to his manifestation of abilities as well as reactions to the the voice. He did not like exposing his nature this way but did really prefer to be safer to sorry in an unknown situation. Besides, it was highly unlikely that she would know what a Nephilim was, let alone be able to connect what he was displaying to him being one.

Across the sea thunder could be heard as lightning flashed against the night sky the wails carrying louder over this storm till one final piercing screech was heard and all fell dead. Up ahead in a small plateau a body of a young woman could be seen by a fire that must have just been doused. tracks led away back to the town and it appeared as though this woman had been knocked unconscious, maybe worse. Though blood had yet to stain the ground one could never be too certain in such situations.

Teach, head ever on a swivel, eased over to check the condition of the woman. If it is just a bump on the head and unconsciousness, that would be easy enough to heal, one deep kiss and all cuts, bruises and superficial injury gone. Though he doubted he would do that. He still did not know his new business partner well enough to expose himself like that. To risk his nature being learned. Besides, some women just didn't respond well coming to in a lip lock with a stranger.
Now, if the injuries were more serious that's where things got tricky. He could easily enough fix that too, with a much more intimate contact, though that certainly would expose him to both women. That was always the trick. Risk exposure and potential death if his secret got out or let a woman continue on suffering or even die. So he checked her over very carefully to see just what her condition was and what choices he'd have to make.

As Teach approached that was when Kyrie, the lady pirate in red jumped from behind her hiding spot armed and ready with two of her sailors by her side. "Well now what have we here? Miss Aversia and a good gentleman it would seem." Her ruby lips curved into a slight smirk watching and eyeing the both of them, her attention never wavering too long between the two. She knew nothing about this man but she knew much of the Lady Aversia and her nature. "Now I truly mean no harm to either of you, I just think you my fine gentle sir should think twice before your dealings with... well let us just say you should explore all your options." Kyrie dare approach him with that sway that only a female could carry and offered him a long look with her eyes darting to the side to gauge Aversia's reaction.

He smirked a look back at Aversia, “A friend of yours I take it?” Looking back to the new woman he said, “I've already made my deal with her. I do so like keeping my word.” Canting his head up slightly he considered, “Though I may not be opposed to a complimentary deal with someone else.” Looking her back dead in the eye, “If they were not the type to try to waylay me with a couple thugs. I honestly can't imagine a genuine bargain coming from an attempted coercion or taking advantage of trying to provoke a situation of duress.”
Again he looked back to Aversia and asked, “What do you think? If she were willing to get rid of the goons and come back to our camp and talk, to both of us, think I should hear her out? No never you worry, I won't let any deal interfere with the one you I have, but one that could work alongside or independently of it? Now that does interest me and might interest you as it could be beneficial to all on all fronts.” Looking back to the woman. “Well, what say you?” Flicking and eye to her goons he asked, “Give them the night off and come talk? I'll garuntee your safety, if she'll agree to hear you out or let me hear you out.”

Something didn't add up. As a woman who set up enough traps, she knew this one was no different. "I'd stay away from her..." She wasn't one to really care about the poor child begging for food or the injured old man needing to be healed. Aversia had her strays, of course, but she was not a giver. Heck... she was likely the reason some children lacked parents and old men were injured.
She raised her sword at the sight of the pirate and the two men, but didn't charge. Yet. It was better to look at their surrounding and determine the outcome of a fight before getting into one. Fingers brushed her hair back from her face when her name left Kyrie's lips.
"Not friends," she confirmed in a flat tone. She had never met Kyrie, but knew about her thanks to the old King Rhys. Sometimes it was a sad fate that had Averisa having mutual business agreements with Kyrie...
"Oh? And a pirate is a better alternative than me?" She wouldn't have cared whether broke his word... Well... It would have meant that his head would be hunted but thankfully he chose to keep up their agreement.
"I do not interfere in the... life choices of my business arrangments." She shrugged, making it clear she would not stop him from talking to Kyrie. "But I have to turn down your offer. Pirates are not worth my time." Her eyes sparked at Kyrie added with a small smirk.

"Friends?" Kyrie gave a chuckle and watched Aversia as she delved out her insults of pirates not being worth her time. "Trust me my good sir I would dare not stand in the way of you having any deal with anyone you wish. After all one makes deals with the devil for power. I just wish to offer you another option on the chance that devil vanishes." Kyrie gave a raise of her eye to Aversia indicating a small unspoken feud between the two. Maybe not enemies, but far from friends. Kyrie took out a small parchment and slid it into Teach's hand after leaning in to address him one final time "meet me here." She turned on her heel with a bow. "My good sir. Lady Aversia." Then with a whistle she vanished with her so called goons.
